Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is floral preservation?
Floral preservation is the art of transforming fresh flowers into long-lasting keepsakes. We carefully dry and preserve your blooms to retain their color, shape, and sentimental value—ideal for commemorating weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
2. What types of flowers can be preserved?
Most flowers can be preserved successfully, including roses, peonies, ranunculus, orchids, and hydrangeas. Some delicate blooms may react differently during the preservation process, but we’ll advise you on the best options based on your bouquet.
3. How should I prepare my flowers for preservation?
Keep your flowers in water and store them in a cool environment (not in the fridge/refrigerator) until you can get them to us. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Avoid pouring water directly on the petals, keep in water only the stems. The sooner we receive them after the event, the better the results.
4. When should I book floral preservation?
We recommend booking as early as possible—ideally before your event. This ensures we can reserve a preservation slot and send you detailed delivery instructions. However, we also accept post-event bookings based on availability.
5. How do I get my flowers to you?
You can either drop off your flowers at our address or ship them overnight or the day after the event, using our detailed packaging guide. We’ll provide clear instructions to ensure your flowers arrive in the best possible condition.
6. How long does the preservation process take?
Preserving and designing your piece typically takes 2-3 months, depending on the method and the complexity of the arrangement. We prioritize quality and craftsmanship to ensure a stunning final product.
7. What kinds of display options do you offer?
We offer luxury display options, including pressed flower frames and shadowboxess. Each piece is handcrafted to suit your style and space.
8. Will the colors of my flowers stay the same?
While we strive to maintain your flowers’ natural colors, some fading or darkening may occur due to the preservation process. We use techniques such as color correction to stabilize and enhance colors where possible, always aiming for the most beautiful result.
9. Can you preserve flowers from a past event?
In some cases, yes. If your flowers have been air-dried or stored properly, we may still be able to work with them. Please contact us with photos so we can assess their condition.
10. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer gift cards—perfect for weddings, baby showers, memorials, or as unique gifts for loved ones.
11. Can I include other items in the display (e.g., invitation, ribbon, photo)?
Absolutely. Many clients choose to include meaningful elements like invitation cards, fabric swatches, photos, or jewelry. We’ll work with you to create a thoughtful and cohesive design.
12. How do I care for my preserved floral piece?
Keep your preserved piece out of direct sunlight and away from high humidity areas. Do not open sealed frames or boxes. With proper care, your floral keepsake will last for many years.
